Innolux Chairman Hung Chin-Yang led a team to Las Vegas, USA, showcasing the latest groundbreaking display products under the theme "Driving New Possibilities."

Color Conversion AM Micro LED Technology Redefines Value

Innolux showcased its color conversion "106-inch AM (Active Matrix) Micro LED Free-Form Modular Display," featuring six key highlights: ultra-high resolution, high color saturation, wide color gamut, exceptional ambient light contrast, seamless modularity, and low power consumption. With an ultra-fine pixel pitch (≤P0.6mm), the display delivers exceptionally refined image quality in every detail. The color conversion Micro LED seamless free-form modular display supports customizable sizes ranging from 12.3 inches to 220 inches, breaking the limitations of traditional displays.

Innolux's free-form modular QD color conversion Micro LED display technology employs an active TFT-driven backplane with four-side modular design and a full-color solution using blue chips paired with QD (Quantum Dot) color conversion technology. Compared to the RGB Micro LED architecture, this approach overcomes two major challenges: the uniformity of green chips and the efficiency and reliability issues of miniaturized red chips. It also significantly reduces the number of mass transfer steps, lowering costs and improving yield.

Additionally, Innolux debuted the "9.6-inch Micro LED Smart Mirror Display" for the first time. This display boasts ultra-high brightness (1200 nits), exceptional contrast ratio (1,000,000:1), a wide color gamut (NTSC 120%), ultra-high reflectivity, and energy efficiency. Equipped with automotive-grade RGB self-emitting Micro LED technology, the display features a minimal aperture ratio, providing high reflectivity and ultra-high image brightness even with low power consumption. Beyond presenting product information, promotional messages, and personalized advertisements, this display offers consumers a virtual reality interactive experience.

Next-Generation Mini LED Technology Targets Outdoor Markets

Innolux leads the innovation of next-generation Mini LED technology with the launch of its latest "17.3-inch and 23.8-inch Mini LED Outdoor Displays." These displays maintain clear visibility even under intense outdoor lighting and offer precise real-time dynamic dimming based on image content. This enhances black level depth and delivers exceptional contrast, resulting in vibrant colors, detailed layers, and dynamic, visually impactful imagery.

Innolux's Mini LED displays are widely applied in outdoor sports events, commercial retail, cultural entertainment, and concerts. Looking ahead, the applications will expand to electronic information boards, charging stations, large department stores, shopping malls, and specialized scenarios such as maritime environments.

Innolux also showcased the "14-inch QHD+ Ultra-Slim Panel," which combines a lightweight design with vibrant color performance, featuring 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut technology tailored for the mobile business market. Additionally, it introduced "14-inch and 16-inch FHD+ Touch Screens" that support finger-touch operation and can integrate the latest AI technology. These screens are designed to enhance interactive and participatory learning experiences, significantly boosting interactivity and creative expression in educational settings.

LCD Dimming Technology Targets Automotive Market

Innolux is actively expanding into non-display applications by leveraging its exclusive liquid crystal film technology and glass integration processes. This innovation has driven advancements in smart liquid crystal windows, which feature high transparency, energy efficiency, ultra-fast response times, and smart networking capabilities. In addition to promoting sustainable smart green buildings, these applications are being extended to the automotive sector.

Innolux is integrating LCD dimming technology into automotive components such as "smart dimming windows," "smart dimming rearview mirrors," and "smart dimming sun visors," creating new opportunities for the industry.

The "smart dimming windows" effectively address the limitations of fixed light transmission in traditional window tints. The "smart dimming rearview mirrors" can automatically detect ambient light intensity and adjust reflectivity as needed, ensuring drivers can clearly view rear traffic in various lighting conditions. Meanwhile, the "smart dimming sun visors" dynamically adjust light transmission in real time to shield drivers' eyes from strong sunlight without causing blind spots typical of traditional sun visors.

The AI Wave Drives Demand for Next-Generation 3D Imaging Displays

Innolux showcased the "27-inch Eye-Tracking Gaming Monitor," which uses the world-first N3D display technology. With low crosstalk algorithms, it delivers high-quality 3D visual effects, significantly improving user experience by addressing the common issue of dizziness during extended use.

Innolux's N3D technology not only provides the best immersive experience for gaming and entertainment, but also excels in the medical and educational sectors. Its outstanding light-field 3D technology, eye-tracking features, and low latency make it ideal for medical imaging applications, offering more efficient and intuitive interactive teaching experiences. Whether for pre-surgical planning, lesion analysis, minimally invasive procedures, or medical education, it enables a more effective and immersive experience.
